If you are looking at relocating to another country-this blog is the greatest place to gather information, chat in forums, ask questions and to meet other people. I stumbled upon it and now is one of my favourite sites. Its helpful and handy and the team behind it are so friendly and welcoming.
Having chatted to a few other expats that have moved to Mauritius, Mike and myself feel more at ease, knowing there are loads of young people from around the world, living and working there, looking to meet new people and make new friends. It kind of feels like even though we have never met these people that we are still moving into a community with a support base.
I just love the way people are looking for morning coffee buddies, squash partners, nature lovers interested in hiking, volunteers at NGO organizations, friends for their dogs and nail salons!
Expat Blog also organizes meet & greets for people in the country/area to meet each other and form friendship. Expat Blog have truly done a remarkable job! What a fantastic Idea!
Thank you Expat Blog and the team behind it! Looking forward to meeting you all!
Overlooking a beautiful french style garden with the sea in distance, we enjoyed our basket of pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice. Le Château is just the most beautiful setting for breakfast, lunch or dinner. With its french style cuisine and stunning decor, Le Château is perfect for any occasion. It would make a fantastic wedding venue. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, making sure that you are happy. Le Château lies next to these gigantic trees that look as if they are pre-historic, their enormity is breath taking. These beautiful trees and the lovely garden add to the peaceful atmosphere. It makes you feel like all you need to do is breathe in the fresh air and relax.
Le Château, if I’m correct, is a heritage site that was restored to become a restaurant. This gem can be found in Domaine de Bel Ombre.
